The Metallic Green Goniopora is one of the most breathtaking LPS corals, prized for its vivid coloration and mesmerizing motion. This coral displays intense neon-green fluorescent polyps with metallic green undertones and iridescent violet stalks, forming a vibrant, flower-like bouquet that sways elegantly with every current.

The Metallic Green Goniopora‍ ‍polyps are long and slender, reaching outward to form a dense, carpet-like canopy. The tentacle tips glow with electric green luminescence, while the lower stalks transition to a deep rose-purple hue, creating a dramatic color gradient under actinic or blue-spectrum lighting. Each polyp features a bright neon-green fluorescent center (“eye”) surrounded by radiant lime-green tentacles and subtle violet-rose stalks. Under actinic or blue LED lighting, the center glows intensely, creating a vivid “eye” effect that draws attention to every individual polyp.
