Green Goniopora

from $54.95

Bring vibrant, flowing motion and radiant green color to your reef tank with our Green Goniopora, one of the most captivating and sought-after species among Large Polyp Stony (LPS) corals. Often referred to as the “flower pot coral”, its long, delicate polyps resemble a blooming bouquet swaying in the current — a true living centerpiece for any reef display.

About Frag:

Very limited Stock.

What makes this frag especially unique is its natural origin and growth process. Unlike standard frags that are cut manually, this piece is:

  • 🧬 Naturally budded

  • 🌱 Self-propagated from the mother colony

  • ♻️ Asexually reproduced in our aquaculture system

  • 🔬 Naturally grown (not manually fragged)

This means the coral frag was formed through natural reproductive behavior within our indoor aquaculture system — not broken or sliced by hand — resulting in lower stress and excellent tank adaptation. This frag comes from a healthy, mature colony, ensuring genetic stability and strong structure.

At coralSLover, we focus on sustainable, eco-conscious aquaculture. Our corals are grown in a closed-loop, recirculated saltwater system with zero impact on wild reefs. Each coral is raised under optimal lighting and water parameters to develop vivid coloration, full polyp extension, and robust skeletal health.

Feeding

Goniopora relies heavily on the products of their zooxanthellae. This coral may benefit from the addition of phytoplankton as a food source. While the coral itself may consume some phytoplankton, the real benefit is the increased population of rotifers that feed on the phytoplankton.

Warning and Handling

Goniopora are sensitive to contact with other corals. Keep in mind to give it more space from other corals.
