The Pink Pocilloporadamicornis from coralSLover® is a truly premium SPS coral, celebrated for its deep pink coloration and intricate branching form that adds both structure and brilliance to any reef tank. While Pocillopora species are known for their hardiness, this particular strain stands out for its exceptionally rich pigmentation—carefully cultivated in our aquaculture systems for maximum vibrancy and resilience.
At coralSLover®, we recognize this coral as Premium due to its saturated pink tones and brilliant contrast under actinic or reef lighting, making it absolutely gorgeous and distinct from common Pocillopora varieties. Each frag is grown under controlled conditions to ensure health, adaptability, and long-term color stability in your aquarium.
The Blue Pocillopora Coralis one of the most familiar and extensively studied SPS corals in both the reef aquarium hobby and marine science. It forms dense, branching colonies with fine polyps that extend during daylight hours, creating a soft, textured appearance with constant natural movement.
This morph features an indigo-blue to blue-violet coloration with contrasting lighter skeletal tones. Under actinic or blue LED lighting, the polyps appear especially vibrant, giving the colony a glowing, fuzzy look that adds depth and motion to reef aquascapes.
In nature, Pocillopora damicornis inhabits shallow reef slopes and lagoon environments, which contributes to its notable tolerance for a wide range of lighting and flow conditions once acclimated. Its ability to adapt makes it a popular choice for reef keepers looking to expand into SPS corals without immediately moving into more sensitive genera.
All Blue Pocillopora offered by coralSLover® are fully aquacultured and grown long-term in controlled, land-based systems in the USA. Each frag comes from established mother colonies and is never wild-collected, ensuring consistent coloration, strong skeletal structure, and dependable performance in home aquariums.
Green Pocillopora damicornis is known for its fast growth, resilience, and strong adaptability once established. While still requiring stable SPS-level parameters, it is more forgiving than many Acropora species, making it a reliable choice for reef keepers expanding into SPS corals.
The Green Pocillopora damicornis is a vivid, fast-growing SPS coral valued for its intense green coloration, dense branching structure, and constant polyp movement. Its fine, fuzzy polyps extend throughout the day, creating noticeable texture and natural motion that adds life and depth to reef aquariums.
This species naturally forms compact, bushy colonies that allow water movement to pass efficiently between branches. Under actinic or blue LED lighting, the coral glows with shades ranging from neon green to emerald, while under full-spectrum lighting it maintains a rich, clean green tone.
Widely studied in marine biology due to its environmental tolerance, Pocillopora damicornis is capable of adapting to a variety of light and flow conditions once properly acclimated. Its durability and rapid encrusting and branching growth make it a visually rewarding coral in both SPS-dominant and mixed reef systems.
Great For: Reef keepers seeking a vivid, hardy SPS coral with outstanding color. Perfect for beginner-to-intermediate hobbyists looking to explore SPS corals, or collectors who appreciate truly premium pigmentation.

Lighting: High and stable PAR levels are crucial for SPS health and vibrant coloration. These corals thrive best under strong, consistent lighting provided by high-quality LED, T5, or hybrid fixtures. Proper acclimation to light intensity helps prevent bleaching and promotes steady growth.
Flow: Strong, turbulent water movement is essential to keep delicate tissues clean, deliver nutrients, and encourage healthy polyp extension. A random, alternating flow pattern works best to mimic natural reef conditions.
Placement: Position SPS frags or colonies on mid to upper rockwork to maximize both light and flow exposure. Secure mounting is important, as SPS corals often encrust rapidly before branching outward. Strategic placement also allows room for future growth without shading neighboring corals.
Water Quality: Pristine and stable water parameters are non-negotiable. Maintain balanced alkalinity, calcium, and magnesium levels, with low but detectable nutrients to sustain healthy growth and coloration. Even small parameter fluctuations can affect SPS polyp extension or lead to color loss, so consistent monitoring and dosing are key.
Feeding: While SPS corals derive most of their energy from photosynthesis via their symbiotic zooxanthellae, they also benefit from occasional broadcast feeding of fine particulate coral foods to enhance growth, coloration, and overall vitality.
Difficulty: Best suited for intermediate to advanced hobbyists. SPS corals thrive in well-established reef systems where conditions remain stable over time and regular testing is part of the routine.
Sustainability: All SPS corals offered by coralSLover are fully aquacultured with zero wild collection, making them eco-conscious, tank-hardy, and better adapted to aquarium life.
Disclaimer: Corals on the pictures are not WYSIWYG, photos was made under different lighting (blue or white lights) and in different tank (our show of frag tanks). You will get coral size as described, shape and color could be slightly off due to shipping stress. After shipping stress soft corals (Mushrooms, Cloves, all types of Leathers) always will look shrink and colorless, won't look as on photos. For them to recover and adjust to new environments they will need 3-7 days in low lights and flow. Specially for mushroom we recommend to keep they under 100PAR and less.
