Classification

  • Type: Zoanthid Coral

Lazer Lemons feature rare multi-layered coloration and strong fluorescence, making them more desirable than common zoa varieties while remaining affordable for hobbyists.

The Lazer Lemon Zoanthids are a mesmerizing and vibrant addition to any reef tank, celebrated for their ultra-bright multi-color pattern and intense fluorescence. Each polyp displays a striking bright blue-to-orange-red face, accented by a bold green and yellow mouth, and finished with neon-green “eyeliner” rings that glow intensely under blue actinic lighting. Their medium-sized heads (approx. ¼″) make them perfect for nano reefs, Zoa gardens, or feature rock islands.

Grown with precision at the coralSLover® Aquaculture Facility, these zoanthids are 100% aquacultured, fully healed, pest-free, and conditioned for long-term success. Their vivid colors, stable growth, and hardy nature make them an outstanding choice for both beginners and experienced collectors.

Lighting:

Spiderman Zoas thrive under moderate to high lighting, with their colors glowing most intensely under actinic/blue spectrum light. Always acclimate new frags gradually to avoid light shock and stress.

Flow:

A moderate water flow is ideal—enough to keep the polyps clean and gently moving. Too much flow can inhibit full extension, while too little may allow detritus to accumulate.

Placement:

Place frags on rock islands, frag racks, lower or middle rockwork, where they can encrust and spread into vibrant colonies. Vertical placement can help encourage fuller polyp extension.

Growth:

Once established, Spiderman Zoas show steady to fast growth, forming colorful mats that make excellent focal points in a Zoa garden.

Difficulty:

Beginner to intermediate friendly—these Zoas are hardy, adaptable, and rewarding under stable reef conditions.

Sustainability:

This coral is fully aquacultured and never wild-collected, supporting eco-conscious and responsible reef keeping.
