🌿 Sustainably Aquacultured Live Saltwater Coral – Zero Wild Collection
Welcome to coralSLover, a family-owned reef aquaculture farm based in Upstate New York — proudly providing 100% legally aquaculture coral frags and colony’s to reefers across the U.S.

We are a licensed facility holding a valid Marine Hatchery Permit issued by the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC). All coral sold is propagated in our indoor, shore-based, closed saltwater systems and meets U.S. legal standards for marine ornamental aquaculture.

🌊 We don’t collect corals from the wild. Each coral frag is adopted, and propagated in-our farm from tank-raised, long-established colonies — many thriving with us since 2010. We’re committed to growing the reefing hobby responsibly by protecting wild ecosystems and promoting ethical marine aquaculture.

âś… Our Corals is:
• Fully healed and pest-free
• Carefully clipped from vibrant parent colonies
• Adapted to tank life for better survivability
• Grown under optimal reef lighting and flow

Our corals are available in a wide range of stunning species including:
Mushrooms |  Softies |  Zoanthids |  LPS |  SPS.

Whether you’re just getting started or collecting rare pieces, we’ll hand-select corals tailored to your reef tank’s lighting, flow, and experience level.

Orange Montipora – Aquacultured SPS Coral | Frags & Colonies Available

Orange Montipora features a uniquely textured surface and an intense orange coloration, making it a standout piece in any SPS reef setup. Under actinic or full-spectrum reef lighting, its fluorescence adds incredible depth and contrast.

Sizes Available:
Frag: 1.5"+

Medium Colony: ~2"

Large Colony: 3"+

đź’ˇ Lighting & Flow Recommendations
Montipora thrive in high light and high flow environments, which promote rich coloration and healthy polyp extension. Without sufficient light, colors may fade. Be prepared for natural color shifts when moving them between systems, as Montipora are highly responsive to spectrum and PAR changes.

Recommended PAR: 200–350

Water Movement: Moderate to High
Higher flow helps prevent detritus buildup and supports skeletal growth.

Care Level: Moderate to Advanced
Montipora are fast-growing but sensitive to changes in water chemistry. Keep your tank stable—especially alkalinity, calcium, and magnesium. Once settled, these corals are excellent growers and can cover rock quickly.

They primarily rely on photosynthesis via zooxanthellae, but benefit from occasional supplemental feeding (rotifers, phytoplankton, or finely blended meaty foods) to enhance growth and color.

Each coral is 100% aquacultured in our sustainable, indoor systems. Grown from tiny starter fragments, never chopped from wild colonies, our Montipora are fully adapted to aquarium life. You’re not just buying a coral—you’re investing in a vibrant, long-lasting reef experience.

⚠️ Legal & Policy Compliance Notice:

• All corals are domestically propagated under U.S. Marine Hatchery Permit
• No wild-collected or illegally imported species are sold — ever.

PRODUCT INFO

Montipora are one of the most diverse SPS corals. They come in a wide variety of shapes and colors and have been a staple in SPS dominated aquariums as well as mixed reef tanks. As for care, they can be sensitive to changes in tank parameters as well as demanding of both high flow and high light for peak health and coloration.

Lighting

Montipora love light. Intense lighting is recommended for best coloration and overall health. Use either Metal Halide lighting, a large bank of high output fluorescent or LED's. If not provided proper lighting, the colors of Montipora may fade. Like other SPS such as Acropora, Montipora can change colors dramatically depending on the type of light provided. Expect some changes in color when moving Montipora from system to system.

Water Flow

Moderate to High water movement is recommended. Like most SPS, reef hobbyists have been keeping Montipora in high flow aquariums for ages with a high degree of success. High water flow helps sweep away detritus from the coral as well as bring vital nutrients to their polyps.

Feeding

Montipora relies heavily on the products of their zooxanthellae but to a lesser degree may feed on phytoplankton and similarly sized microfauna in the water column. We do not go out of our way to feed Montipora, but they may benefit from a light dusting of rotifers or phytoplankton.
