Midnight Daisy Clove Polyps or Green - Eyed Daisy Polyps. Small polyps deep purple color with bright green centers.

Frag 1,5” include 8+Polyps.

Colony on the rock.

Clove Polyps are one of the nicest of all clove polyps, looks like a meadow of wildflower’s. Thay have incredible deep color. They have long stems and SMALL heads which wave beautifully in the currents. Like all of our polyps they are aquacultured specimens, many generations removed from the original wild starter colonies. Keep in mind this type of coral collects some dust and hair algea (normal for them because they like to grow in the sent and over the rocks).

Clove Polyps are a beautiful fast-growing soft coral that in many ways resemble both a Xenia and a Pipe Organ. They have soft feathery polyps that sometimes carry either an orange or green highlight. Their base forms a tube that the stalk extends from.

Clavularia thrive under a wide assortment of lighting. Start with medium lighting to be safe.

Moderate to high water movement is recommended. Sometimes detritus accumulates at the base of clove polyps and stronger flow helps prevent buildup.

Clavularia relies heavily on the products of their zooxanthellae but also may feed on phytoplankton and similarly sized microfauna in the water column.

Disclaimer:
Corals on the pictures are not WYSIWYG, photos was made under different lighting (blue or white lights) and in different tank (our show of frag tanks). You will get coral size as described, shape and color could be slightly off due to shipping stress.
After shipping stress soft corals (Mushrooms, Cloves, all types of  Leathers) always will  look shrink and colorless, won't look as on photos. For them to recover and adjust to new environments they will need 3-7 days in low lights and flow. Specially for mushroom we recommend to keep they under 100PAR and less.
