Welcome to coralSLover, a family-owned reef aquaculture farm based in Upstate New York — proudly providing 100% legally aquaculture coral frags and colony’s to reefers across the U.S.
We are a licensed facility holding a valid Marine Hatchery Permit issued by the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC). All coral sold is propagated in our indoor, shore-based, closed saltwater systems and meets U.S. legal standards for marine ornamental aquaculture.
🌊 We don’t collect corals from the wild. Each coral frag is adopted, and propagated in-our farm from tank-raised, long-established colonies — many thriving with us since 2010. We’re committed to growing the reefing hobby responsibly by protecting wild ecosystems and promoting ethical marine aquaculture.

This Green and Orange Split Montipora features a dramatic bi-color display—a vivid green half and a bright orange half under actinic lighting. Its textured growth and bold coloration make it a standout piece in any reef aquarium.

💡 Lighting & Flow:
Lighting: Medium to High PAR (200–350+ recommended)
Flow: Moderate to High
This coral thrives in intense light for best coloration. Provide strong, turbulent flow to prevent detritus buildup and support healthy polyp extension.
🌱 Growth & Care:
Montipora are fast-growing SPS corals known for their stunning variety and color adaptability. This split-color variety is especially eye-catching and will shift subtly in tone based on your tank's lighting and nutrient conditions.
While relatively hardy, they respond best to stable water parameters and mature reef systems. Expect dramatic color changes when moved between systems or light zones.
🧪 Nutrition:
Mostly photosynthetic via their zooxanthellae, Montipora can benefit from occasional feedings of phytoplankton, rotifers, or other fine particulate foods. This is not required but may boost coloration and growth.
